Indexing
The International Journal of Management and Data Intelligence(IJMDI) is a multidisciplinary publication committed to achieving recognition in prominent indexing databases. The visibility of any academic journal significantly depends on its accessibility to researchers and scholars, and on the extent to which its published works are cited and shared within the academic community. To enhance the reach of our authors' contributions, we collaborate with several citation indexing and abstracting services that curate quality research, thereby increasing the global visibility and accessibility of our journal's content.
Many leading indexing platforms maintain rigorous criteria for inclusion, making it essential for authors to prepare their manuscripts meticulously, following the journal's publication guidelines. Failure to meet these standards may result in delayed indexing or even rejection by some databases, potentially limiting future inclusion opportunities. At IJMDI, we prioritize quality and compliance to ensure that our publications achieve visibility in esteemed indices. We extend our gratitude to our contributors and editorial team for their diligence in upholding these standards.
Our indexing efforts currently include integration with widely used academic platforms, and our publication process incorporates OJS/PKP plugins to facilitate automatic indexing. Authors can expect their articles to be disseminated to a vast network of databases and repositories, including but not limited to:
- Google Scholar
- MyCite
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why is my publication not visible on a specific index’s website?
IJDPN has no direct control over the update schedules of individual indexing platforms. Articles are submitted through automated systems as per the OJS/PKP framework. However, delays in uploading newly indexed content are expected. If you have received confirmation of indexing but cannot locate your article on the index’s website, it is likely due to their update cycle. Please allow some time, and if the issue persists beyond a few weeks, contact us at editor.ijmdi@ui-journals.com.
What happens if an index rejects my publication?
If your article does not meet the criteria of a specific index, it may be placed on temporary probation or rejected outright. We encourage authors to carefully review the journal's indexing guidelines and ensure their work adheres to all standards for formatting, citation, and timeliness. IJMDI will assist in resubmitting articles once revisions are made and any mandated waiting periods have passed.
Does receiving an “Indexing Submission Notification” mean my article has been indexed?
No, this notification indicates that your article has been submitted for indexing consideration and has met the preliminary requirements for submission. It does not confirm that the indexing process has been completed. Some indices' review and inclusion process may take several months to over a year.
Commitment to Excellence
At IJMDI, we aim to make our publications accessible to the widest possible audience and ensure our authors' work achieves the recognition it deserves. By maintaining high-quality standards and actively pursuing indexing opportunities, we strive to contribute meaningfully to the academic community and the broader field of research.
