Peer Review Process

  1. Initial Editorial Review:

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial review by the editors to ensure their suitability for the International Journal of Management and Data Intelligence (IJMDI). This includes evaluating alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, similarity scores using a prescribed tool, methodological soundness, readability, and adherence to the journal's paper template.

  1. Double-Blind Peer Review:

Manuscripts passing the initial review are sent to at least two anonymous reviewers. In the double-blind peer review process, reviewers do not know the authors’ identities, and authors do not know the reviewers' identities. However, if the research is published, reviewers may eventually learn the authors' names.

  1. Reviewer Feedback:

The reviewers' comments are sent to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses. Once the authors address the feedback, the revised manuscript is reviewed by the editorial team, which provides recommendations for the final decision.

  1. Final Decision:

The Editor-in-Chief communicates the final decision to the corresponding author after considering the reviewers' feedback and editorial team recommendations.

  1. Post-Acceptance:

Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and layout editing to prepare the camera-ready paper for publication.

Plagiarism Detection

The International Journal of Management and Data Intelligence (IJMDI) uses Turnitin for plagiarism detection through the Similarity Check service. Articles with a similarity index exceeding 15% are rejected at the initial desk review stage.

IJMDI ensures that all published papers are plagiarism-free through a stringent initial evaluation process.

Turnitin Originality Detection:

Turnitin compares submitted manuscripts against its extensive database of web repositories and leading scholarly content to identify text similarities. This helps maintain academic integrity and ensures that all published papers are original and plagiarism-free.
